Scotty's Musings -

Good Evening Everyone and welcome to the 2026 Rotary Year.

Hard to believe that we are already into February and this is the first bulletin.

A huge shout out to Sam and Judy Loughridge for hosting our January Social BBQ at their magnificent home at Ripplebrook.  What a great night it was and a really great way to kick of the year.

Kicking off the 2026 Year with a BBQ at Sam & Judy's

Thanks to everyone who made themselves available to assist with the BBQ trailer for Sam's Clearing Sale on the 23rd.  The crew was certainly kept busy by the attendees.  The egg and bacons and sausages in bread were flying off the hotplate.

Thorn 1 & 2 - aka Rob & Jan hard at work

The Roses between the Thorns!

President Thorn - prepared & ready to go!

I'm currently in Tasmania on holidays and won't be back until the 15th, then I will be flying back down here a month later to attend the Rotary Conference in Hobart for 3 nights.  Its not to late for anyone interested to book and come along for a great weekend of fellowship and inspirational speakers.

A huge shout out to everyone working behind the scenes to make this year's Show N Shine another great success.  Apologies I won't be in attendance, I'm at a very good friends 50th Birthday which is on the same day.  I am sure it will be another fantastic success and again, thank you to all involved.

Thanks to everyone for the other things that get done behind the scenes and are often missed.  It is appreciatted.

I look forward to seeing you all at our next meeting on the 18th February at the Bowling Club.
