MOBILE PHONES & CHARGES

 

Members are reminded that the Secretary is collecting used Mobile Phones

 and Chargers for donation to DV Safe for people fleeing domestic 

violence situations so please round up any old phones you may have!

 

Collection bins have been placed in the Bendigo Bank Branches in 

Koo Wee Rup and Lang Lang

Meeting Opened 1900 hrs at Lang Lang Bowls Club.

President Harold Keiley opened the meeting and welcomed all along.

Family of Rotary

  • Sam is nursing a few sore ribs after rekindled dreams of footy glory with the grandkids came crashing back to earth, courtesy of an unceremonious reality check and an unexpected reacquaintance with gravity - All wished Sam a speedy recovery

Secretary

  • New secretary Scott caught members up on a number of emails in the system - Emails will be distributed as necessary

General Business

  • Idea raised of looking at hosting a Book Drive - Pro's & cons of the idea were discussed, members felt this would be something to pursue - location, book source
  • Scott will be taking part in upcoming Rotary members secretary training.
  • Fellowship & great supper concluded the evening
